MARKET AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES SPRING 2010 STARS UNDER THE STARS ENTERTAINMENT LINE-UP

February 9, 2010—A trio of bands known for legendary live performances and outrageous stage shows are set to headline the Spring 2010 Stars Under the Stars entertainment series in the world’s home for home furnishings.

On Saturday evening, April 17, The WonderBread 5—a San Francisco-based, rock-and-roll party machine featuring Michael, Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Action Jackson—will kick off Spring Market with a heart-thumping wall of sound and a crowd-pleasing play-list that covers everything from the B-52s to the Beatles.

Then, on Sunday evening, April 18, Grammy-winning, American rock band Blues Traveler is set to take center stage. Known for improvisational live shows and a unique sound that blends blues with psychedelic, folk, Southern rock and soul, the band’s body of work encompasses eight studio albums and four live discs (six of them certified Gold or Platinum), with combined worldwide sales of more than 10 million units. Blues Traveler’s best-known single, “Run Around,” was the longest-charting radio single in Billboard history, while the band’s most recent release—North Hollywood Shootout—has been hailed as a landmark.

Monday, April 19, features alternative rock band Sister Hazel, best known for hit singles like “All For You,” and “Change Your Mind,” and thousands of extraordinarily loyal fans known as “Hazelnuts.” With ten albums under its belt, Sister Hazel has had its music featured in several movies and soundtracks, including “Major League: Back to the Minors,” “The Wedding Planner,” and “10 Things I Hate About You,” among others. Last summer, Ford Motor Company chose the band to be the face of the company’s “Sync My Ride” website, and the band released its seventh studio album of original songs. On the day of release, “Release” was the number-one album on iTunes.
